Roles & Access

Maintain complete control over your workspace. Learn how Admin, Manager, and Staff permissions keep your data secure and organized.

Perfect10 uses three roles, Admin, Manager, and Staff, to control what each user can see and do. Staff get a focused chat-only interface, while Managers and Admins access the full dashboard.

What you'll do
1
Understand the three roles and their capabilities
2
Manage users from the Employees page

Staff — Chat-Only Access

  1. Staff users access the platform through the Chat page — a focused interface for talking to agents assigned to them. They don't see the dashboard, settings, or any management pages.
  2. 1. Staff can: chat with assigned agents, browse their own conversation history, and use the AI Consultant.
  3. 2. Staff cannot: create agents, knowledge bases, or tools, and cannot manage other users.

2

Manager — Department-Level Control

  1. Managers access the full dashboard and can manage resources within their assigned department.
  2. 1. Managers can: create and manage agents and knowledge bases (own dept), configure tools, assign agents to Staff, activate/deactivate Staff accounts, create Staff invitation codes, generate BRDs, and manage report schedulers and galleries.
  3. 2. Managers cannot: create departments, promote users to Manager or Admin, manage users outside their department, or access resources belonging to other departments.
3

Admin — Full Workspace Control

Admins have full access across all departments.

In addition to everything Managers can do, Admins can: create and manage departments, create Manager or Staff invitation codes, change any user's role/division/expiry, and access resources across all departments.

You cannot change your own role, and no one can be promoted to Admin through the UI. Admin accounts are set up at the account level.

Managing Users (Employees Page)

Go to User Management → Employees to see all users. Search by name or email and filter by Role or Division.

Activating / Deactivating a User: Click the toggle on a user's row to activate or deactivate their account. Inactive users cannot log in.

Changing a User's Role or Division: Admins can click the Edit icon on any non-Admin user to update their role, division, or account expiry date.
